Egypt

Muhammad's mum came to tell us about Egypt. She helped us make a lantern and baked us yummy basbousa (an Egytian dessert) to taste. Many of us had 2 helpings!

Emmy and Muhammad are proud of their Egyptian flag and we can greet them by saying " Assalam alaykum."

Mushrooms

On our way back from Waiata Wednesday in the hall, we saw these mushrooms in the garden. They were soooo beautiful.

Don't you love the illustration?

Wig day

We all wore wigs or hats to raise money for Child Cancer. We were amazed at this one that was made from vegetables.

Giraffe enclosure

Leah and Chelsey made a giraffe enclosure before school. The trees are protected by a fence. There is a whole family of giraffes!
