A 'g' and 'q'

This week's letters were open mouth, short stick, possum tail 'g' and open mouth, short stick, hanging stick, flick ' q'


Look at our giggling gorillas and quiet queens.

Good colouring

We are learning what good colouring looks like...


Jessica showed me that she CAN do it. She stayed in the lines and covered all the white bits too!

Buddy reading

Katie and Lewis did such a good job at buddy reading time today. They showed one another the covers of their books and the title page and then they read their reading books.

Caterpillars and ants

Today Toni reminded me that we didn't have Casey caterpillar and ants on apples on our blog.


So, here they are! can you sing the songs?

Katie had the blue shapes and she make a rocket flying to space.

Dancing daisies and orange octopus

This week we learnt how to say the sound for a 'd' and how to write it - 'open mouth, tall stick'


We also learnt  'o' and made an orange octopus.
