Short stick letters

We have done all the letters that start with a short stick.

We looked on the internet to find a nautilus and he was going backwards!! We have also finished all the letters that start with a tall stick!

We love doing the activities for each letter and we can sing songs for each one too, like  " Tigers on tiptoes t,t,t. Tigers on tiptoes t,t,t. Tigers on tiptoes t,t,t. T is the sound that T makes! "

Making our enclosures

We started making our own enclosures...

There was lots of colouring in with pastels...

Cutting and gluing...

But, we found out that the strong duct tape is VERYsticky!!

Tiger enclosure

We made a tiger enclosure together. We had to think about where he sleeps, what he eats and what he likes to do for fun!

buddy reading

This is a favourite time of our day - the time that we get to share our reading book from yesterday with a buddy. We share elbow to elbow and knee to knee just like Katie and Veronika!

Bubbles

We watched a show about bubbles. Alan blew the biggest bubbles we had ever seen! He made the bubbles with a mixture.

Christopher drew a picture of him blowing hundreds of bubbles!

Monarch Butterfly

Mrs Olsen brought us 2 chrysalises and...

We got to watch them hatch! 

We know it is a boy butterfly because of the black spots on his wings. Did you know that?
